State trying to strip city of snow policy making

    All our roads are plowed by the highway dept. I like the 150 pounds of salt for a lane mile. Here they use about 600 pounds per lane mile.

    150lbs per lane mile? Seems a little low to me. But doesn't the State have better things to worry about?

    they say they are doing that to reduce polution in the lakes.

    That is on the east side more, Lake Michigan and Superior are great!
