    Mick 76,

is 20 lbs per sf based on one application per event. How many applications do you apply on a big storm for a super market type lot.

Yes it is. Depending on the storm and timeframe of snow i will wait till the end of the storm to salt. Some customers want salt regardless though.

Is it to be bare pavement at all times, or only once during a 24 hour period because of budget constraints?

The right answer is as many as it takes to meet the customers expectation and/or spec.

    Stowe,
what Tlca said. generally speaking its 20 lbs per 1000 sf per application. ice storms youll use more while dustings youll use less. specify in your contract what your going to do.
