Spreaders Mounted on 2" Hitch?

    How much road can you salt with one of those salt spreaders that fit into your 2" hitch on the back of your truck. not sure how big they are. average???

    Depending on size and model I would say between 100-500 lbs. The "average size" will hold between 300-350 lbs.

    we have a tailgate apreader on a 2" we put about 500lbs in ours.

    what ever you buy make sure the spreader with a full load of salt/sand or whatever is not more the recomended tounge weight. most likely only an issue on 1/2 ton or smaller trucks.
