It's built on a similar frame, and has the same motor as a GMC Canyon, so it does well to haul that plow around.wesport

Negative Ghost Rider, the above is an H2 it has a 6.0 in it and is on a 3/4 frame.

Arent all H2s on a 3/4 frame? Theres no way they could handle a 1/2ton frame. That and it would be insane to put a 810 on a 1/2

I stay pretty local with it and have to crank the torsion bars on it. which is my project today. She drops around and inch. The truck sits lower in front from factory. This is my second year plowing with truck and did just fine last year. The payloader do all the hard work.

Yes that truck has 4100 lb axle. It goes on and off every snow fall. Maybe 4-5 hr a snow fall. It usually used as a back-up or just to get a head. Then i get in salt truck for rest of night, For 100 hr a year of plowing it pays for me to drive all year. Not a bad exchange

Thats what I figured. Let the big guns take the brunt of it. The owner of Bushmaster Firearms has one of these, it had a plow on it for a week....the next time I saw it, the plow & mounts weren't on it anymore. I'd see him at the school when we were dropping our kids off, he barley cleared the speed bump on the way out. I'm almost positive his is a diesel though.

How about some more pictures of those H2's with plows? How many are you running?

Repoman, im pretty sure they dont put diesels in H2's unless he had one swapped in....is his maybe an H1?
