IHi guys, I am going to start the scraping and painting on my speedcast plow. And I want to take your advice and change the trip springs, because scraping and painting will take a long time. 2 questions. 1st question is how do i know which springs to purchase. I have no model number, and I don't even know the year. Are they all the same? The second question is, how do you get the springs off? I disconnected the trip plate from the bottom of the springs, but the top looks like it has steel rivets that hold it in place. Do I have to cut the rivets and replace them with bolts? It looks like the spring bar and the spring are a solid assembly. Any ideas? Thanks.
