Holy freakin' *****! I'd shoot myself if I lived there......or, a more rational solution, I'd move! Too much for me.....2 inches every week with a 40 degree warm spell in the middle is fine for me:nod:

Now here's a question for you to ponder.....

How'd they get that excavator the whole way up there with no clear road in sight???? Must have been dropped by helicopter! :D

What do you think those guys charge per push?, if you can call it that. Maybe they charge by the inch. I wouldn't want to pay it. payup payup

i dont want to know how much they make because we all pay for it in taxes. wouldnt it be eaiser to make a snow tunnel like they have for trains in the sierras's?

snow tunnels? what the hell is that? you cant tell me that they just make a tunnel and let the train go through it, It'd collapse from all the vibration

I think they should take the tax money and buy everyone at the other end a snowmobile. It would probably be cheaper.

Imagine how bad it'd be there if it wasn't for all of the Global Warming.

landscape80, i ment snow sheds. :D :D dont think a snow tunnel would work like you said.:D i have checked out a couple of snow sheds and they are massive. designed to take an enourmous snow load.

Yea, you can see why I was confused. I pictured a big corkscrew-like machine drilling a 'tunnel' down the railroad tracks...yea, yea, yea, I got quite an imagination:rolleyes:
