Solenoid Under Hood

    If the battery and the plow motor are hooked to the under hood switch and switch is grounded directly to the battery for a test the plow motor should run, if not the under hood solenoid is shot correct,
    any help on the system would be great thanx

    There is a small nut with a black wire going to it I believe. That is the trigger, if you put power to the trigger the solenoid should put power to the motor. I think this is right.
