How does your truck hold up to the spreader and plow? I have a '06 F350 6.0l crew cab. Have thought about a plow and spreader but it is also my "family truck". Dont want to ruin it pushing snow or dumping salt/sand in it.

Looks AWESOME! Are the reciever brackets on the ultramount red or is that just a wheel lock on the trailer that looks like its on the truck lol.

whats the difference between a 7000/7550 and 8500 model? i swore the 8500 would only fit a long bed, what yardage is it 2yrd? how much did it run ya? looks great.

I was looking at the salt dog 2 yard poly boxes since our dually is a shortbed but id like to load it up high!

Great Looking truck. I like the Yellow and black combo. Salter looks great, Where did you purchase it? We just got a 9300 snow-ex from RA Adams. Just curious.

It plowed great last year. I only had a tailgate pro flo on it last year. Im sure it will be a great setup this year.

Yea electric seems like its the way to go. Poly is smart too.

Thanks. The recieveres are actually bright orange. Looks pretty good.

This one I have is going in to its 5th year. The guy I plow for uses all snowex 8500s. They work great with the auger thats the length of the spreader.

Thanks. Those are 295 nittos on an icon 2.5 leveling kit.

Yea I did put a lot of stuff on it from when I got it stock. Thanks for the compliment.

The models you mentiond are differnt sizes. The 8500 is for short beds but will compliment a long bed as well. It is a 2yd. Its my boss's salter.

Thank you. It came from R.A. Adams

Thanks a lot. Most SnowEx spreader work awsome.

ultimate, what did you get it for installed?

i just got a quote,.... starting cash price of 7k+ :/ ouch.. considering ive seen 1.5-2 yard salt dog, air flows in poly or stainless and a few other brands shy of 4k.. i almost fell over when i saw the price financed, for two, shipped and installed lol. i swore it was a misprint in my quote.

Looks good. I plan to get a spreader sometime. Probably next season though. And it'll just be a small one for the reciever.

Its not mine its my boss's. He has 3 of them. These things are solid and well built. They are pretty expensive but you get what you pay for. But I do know he payed around 7 for them.

How do you have that V box secured to the truck?
I have a poly 2yd temporarily secured to the 4 stake pockets for now on my truck with 3" straps, I took out those anchors that where in there

Would be nice if the 4 stake pockets would work,
I drove around town and along my property as if I was plowing back n forth,, it hasn't moved thus far

    Please let me know
    thanks

after 15 years of plowing/salting we are looking at buying our first vbox. I have 4 snowex 1075 tailgate spreaders with minimal problems (last couple years, control box and motor/trans problems). How do guys like the snow ex 7550 and 8550. Looking at putting in a chevy 3500 1ton single rear wheel truck.

Any problems with the snow ex spreaders? what about loaded weight? how much area is 1 ton of salt covering? appreciate any help.
