Used last winter and a few times this season. We were in a bind last winter and just needed another salter to get us by, we might have run close to 5 ton through it last year and maybe a half ton this winter. Also has soft cover for it. The holes in the hopper are from a vibrator we had it last season. Its been wired so you need to have a switch to turn it on and off the wireless controller does come with it but it was just to much trouble. Paid $600 for it new last season, will sell it for $300 cash.

Hmm, I've been looking for a cheap spreader to throw on the back of one of my trucks for just occasional use.

Is this one of the ones that you plug into your trailer lights to work?

Yea with the wireless controller, I never had much luck with the controller though...

What did you end up doing? Just hotwire to the battery with a toggle?

Yes, just need 12 volts and a ground add a toggle. Never had a problem. With the wireless controller if the salt was even a little wet it would think there was a jam and wouldnt turn on.
