Ok guys here is the issue...

the out put wires on the back of the control is only putting out about 6 volts.

    What i have done

    1) ensure that 12 volts are going into the control----- CHECK
    2) took the controller to the deal and had him test it------ TESTED OK with the snowex tester---- CHECK
    3) tested the salter with a 12V source ( external battery and jumpers ) --- salter works fine.
    4) every wire has continuity....

    PLEASE HELP.

i will clean it up with a grinder and a wheel tomorrow.... i will let you know.... but the salter was sandblasted and completly painted...

does the salter have to be grounded to the truck, or does the black wire coming back to the controller handle it?

i have checked all ground wires... everything has continuity, and everything is grounded.

snowex is thinking the dealer didnt test the controller right.
