snowblower issue

    one of my craftsman 6 hp snowblowers runs for 5 min then shuts off sometimes sooner then u can start it back up any ideas thanks

    sounds like you have a dirty carb. also check the float in the bowl so that is adjusted correctly.

    crap in the carb, water/ice in the carb, floats have hole(s) in them not allowing proper operation, needle valve sticking, not working, water in gas. Seems this Ethanol additive is a moisture magnet. Use a good fuel stabilizer/additive. These snowblowers take alot of abuse from us even when we treat them nice!! Bad low oil sensor??

    Could be a clogged vent on the gas cap - but that would be way to easy and inexpensive.
