Snowbear on a lifted Ranger

I just bought a PS100 Snowbear and I am going to put it on a '97 Ranger with a 6" suspension lift. Am I to assume that I will need to alter the stock mounts in order for the plow to touch the ground? Or will it touch anyway even with the lift on the truck? If it will not, could I remove the lifting strap and install a longer chain/wire-rope/whatever to allow it to reach the ground? If I do this, will the plow then be at the wrong angle and maybe get hung up on stuff easier? If it matters, I will be plowing a gravel driveway.

    Thanks,

    Scott

Had a friend that had one fabricated up for a ultra hi lifted old Cherokee. Never worked well, always was bending the fabbed pieces.

Hope that helps your thought process. :nono:
