Snoway pump wire not hooked up! Help

    here is a photo of the wire that should be hooked some place, but not sure where! you can see a grey plug thjats not connected to ist mate for some reason, and this is a wire thats pictailed off of the connector. would it go to the negative side of the solenoid?

    Anyone know if this hooks to the positive or negative side of the solenoid?

    Looks like a ground to me but I don't know anything about snoway.

    Snoway you don't know anything about them?
    I'd try on there website or pm basher, he's the snoway guy in these parts

    I guess I could ground to plow frame. It seems weird that the plug was disconnected!! not sure if I should hook evevrything up before I test to see if this plow even works.

    That's a ground. first picture there is a hole in the endhead where a bolt is missing. That is where that wire should ground take the time to get a 5/16 SS bolt and star washer, that is an aluminum endhead, mild steel will corrode overnight.

    i bought this plow in the summer and not sure if it even works. Can i hook up the leads to the batttery and test it that way? if it doesnt work then i dont want to drill my frame and install the pushplates, i would just sell as is. Thanks for any insight.!!!!

    Sure just attach the ground to the missing bolt:D and throw 12v to the motor side of the 12v motor solenoid. That should make the pump run.
