If I put a Snoway 26 on my 07 1500 qc, what can I handle?
I know it is not optimal, but are there recommendations for upgrading the truck?

    Thank you!

Our 26 series makes an excellent 1/2 ton application.

Other than maybe a set of Timbrens up front there aren't any other mods that you would need to make to the truck.

Thanks for your interest in Sno-Way.

The truck will handle the plow fine...it's the truck dealer you'll want to be concerned with. Without the plow prep package on your truck dealers love to deny warranty repairs.

Should I install a trans cooler and a thermostat?

    What about a Ballast?

I wouldn't do anything until I tried the rig out first, except for adding ballast. Forget about a T-stat change.

Bigger/aux trans cooler may be needed depending on how much plowing you'll actually be doing.
