 Is any body using purpose made snow tires on their trucks or alll-terrains. I am going to buy a set of wheels off ebay to put a set of snow tires on. Was woundering if any body else uses them.

Wouldn't consider plowing without snows, I use Green Diamond tires ( do a search we've discussed them before), switch from 245 75 16 to 215 85 16 for plowing, a narrower tire is a better snow tire.

I use Blizzaks as a dedicated snow tire. Bought them from Tire Rack mounted on steel rims. Worked fantastic on my truck.
