I just bought this spreader used. What is a good speed to set on the dial for?. I understand that the higher the number the faster and more product it will throw. Also, Is there no fuse to blow in case of a short? Maybe Im missing something?

Thanks for the help. Does anything I asked make sense?

Just play with it when you're spreading and you'll find a speed that works for you. I run mine around the mid-20s so maybe try that speed first and see if that's where you need to be.

Speed control varies on what product your throwing and how far you want it to go. There should also be a fuse at the battery.

Some fuses are located behind the controller.
