snow ex 575 motor to tranny ?

    i just bought a tranny for my 575 and cant remember how the rubber/metal piece that goes inbetween the two does the metal part of the gromet go on the tranny side or the motor side?

    goodlivin22, Did you get your answer and if so how does it go in? My old motor and tranny didn't have this gromet and before I put my new one together i'd like to find out. Thanks

    I didn't get a reply but when I took them apart the metal part of the coupler was against the tranny and the rubber part against the motor. The rubber side has a piece of metal that the motor fits into room for flex

    Bryan the green tranny grease is very TOXIC so be warned when taking that inspection cover off
