Good evening, and thank you in advance for any suggestions you may have. I own a 92 chevy silverado with fisher mm1. Battery light comes on in truck's cab, when you move the joystick, causes the speedometer to jump, and seems to be slowing do the speed of the plow movement when it is drawing current. Rechecked connections on battery, moved the fuse slot in the cab and still having issues.

Bad alt. or battery will cause the battery light to come on.

Thank you for the reply, I certainly appreciate it. Do you think a faulty alternator may cause the momentary tick of the speedometer when the joystick is engaged? Thanks again!!

All the systems run on voltage. You drop the voltage big time stuff will happen.
Use the search function on the gray line above.
SEARCH : Charging, Low power, Duel batteries. There is hours of reading there.

    Thank you

Just wanted to drop a quick note to thank both of you for your assistance. It was indeed the alternator, replaced yesterday and was ready for the snow that was not to be. We got more salt dropped on our roads than snow here in the DC's capital region. Thanks and good luck!
