I have 2 questions for you all..... Anyone have any good/bad experiences with the 9cu ft. Sno-Way salt spreader?? I am looking to purchase one soon and use bagged rock salt in it. Also, Can this spreader work on any controller?? It seems that all controllers have the same basic concept--on/off and speed. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!!!

Have not had complaints on the spreaders, have a bunch of them out there.

you can wire anything to anything with enough time and the right stuff. Unless you're an experienced McGyver (and there's a lot out there,) it can be cheaper to bite the bullet up front. The factory system is designed to work together, is already made, comes with instructions and is simple to repair with parts the dealer should have.

I purchased mine used and it has been a great spreader-- one problem, I have to kickstart it when the hopper is full--don't know why
