I have a older sno-way with down pressure. Expecting snow Sunday and I cant figure out my plow. The blade goes down when I want it up. Left and right work fine but I cant get the blade off the ground. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check to see if the down pressure valve is stuck open.

I removed the down pressure valve, cleaned it replaced it. Now my plow has all the functions except down pressure. Does this mean I need a new valve?

Do you have 12 volts to the yellow wire on the pressure switch? Try putting the down pressure switch to on and attaching the tan and yellow wires together. Do it in a manor allowing you to quickly disconnect them as the motor will run when you do it. See if that applies down pressure.
