I have Smart hitch 2 and was wondering if you can take plow off without having the truck on. Our truck wont start. The ignition is bad so i cant even turn the key to get the batteries on and the tow truck is coming to get it tomorrow to take it back to our shop as its sitting in a parking lot. I was wondering if i could take the plow off without the key being on.

    Thanks guys

Simply run a jumper wire to the black/red wire (poking from the control harness somewhere under the dash) or simply pull it out of the fuse panel socket that it's in and place it in one thats hot with the ignition off. You'll then have full plow functions.
