I have not priced my own lots or drives for the last 2 seasons I've been mainly subbing. I have a potential customer with a small lot about 25 spaces lot is straight with 8 spaces on one side and 13 on the other. I'm looking for some help with a per push price and also seasonal. If anyone could give me an idea what they would charge particularly Buffalo area guys. I don't want to be too low and drive down area prices. I appreciate any input.

    we need to know

what type of equipment you have, how far you got to drive to get there, you have any other accounts around it, what type of service do they want.

For that size lot in his area if it's not in the snowbelt it will be 500-800 for the season.

For that lot I wouldn't salt it.Most small lots around here don't get salted unless they send someone out with some.

seems really low to me - again i get the area thing with a cheaper price GV, but i think ur still nuts

    heres y

    car x 50 foot driveway = 1000 sq feet

he says a total of about 80 feet x 60 feet which is 4800 sq feet, might even be a few larger

so if he should charge 40 dollars... should he also charge 10 to plow a standard drive?

i think he should be atleast 75 bucks

that's snow contra every other truck has a plow. If you check back I'll better the guy paid 20-25 per push .

As for drives if there is 5-6 inches of snow there they just drive through it.

Every area is diff elite, its like comparing apples and oranges! I would think Gv would kno the going rate, he has plowed snow since the beginning of time. Does not seem to be doing that bad!

    2" trigger push every 2", commercial lot, $65-$75 + salt+ sidewalks.
If they want reliability and a insured snow professional to do it.
    service costs.

If they want the uninsured to do it then $30 a push.
    Everyone needs beer money

jmo no matter where you live.

i dont doubt GV at all, clearly knows the area... but seems funny how all these ppl say they wouldnt plow for 20 dollars a standard drive way , but for 15 more, your going to plow a parking lot with great liablity?
