Looking for some guidance on a future purchase of either a box plow or a Power Broom for my skid loader I am makeing a angle blade for it now out of an old western blade. But need some help from some other contractors who are using their skid steers for snow removal.

Well, we have a protech box & a 10' 2 way plow for the bobcat, and the plow is on it all year, while the box is our extra snow fence holder.:)

Brooms are high maintenance and are only really good for sidewalks in light storms. I would only use a broom if the client specifies it. JMO

We run power brooms for light snow and for clean up after a storm. Mostly for sidewalks, but it leaves them dry at the end of a storm.
