I was just curious what the consensus (if there is one) on pricing single events snowtotals over 10 or 12 inches on an TOTAL INCHES scale of pricing.

For example: do most people just continue their scale upwards
    2-4 = x
    4.1-6 = 1.5 x
    6.1-10 = 2x
    10.1-14 = 2.5x
    14.1-18 = 3x

Or do most people cap a number of inches and then charge a set amount per inch above and beyond the cap
    eg. 10 inches price = x
    12 inches is x + a $ amt per inch

    or is there another way?

We start at 2" and start multipling fill in each blank on our bid sheet

Service charge of $25.00 to get the truck there, and $5.00 per inch afterwards.
