Sorry if this has been covered before but the rig I bought over the summer has no shoes on it and I was wondering if you use them or not? I see a lot of shoes for the blade on ebay and am wondering if I need them and why or why not? Thanks.

If you are plowing hard surfaces I would say that most people do not run shoes. If you are going to be plowing gravel drives you may want to look into getting some so the plow edge doesn't dig in and move all the gravel around.

Actully, I have a set inside the house that I will never use.
I may put them back on when, I sell my truck in a few years.

Unless you have a hundered pounds it might be worth a couple of bucks. But, you can sell almost anything on eBay. =]
