I need to call the guy back tonight.
Asking $5000 on the for sale sign, he said he would take $2500 on the phone

    New transmission
    Auto
    4x4
    103k miles

    Supposedly runs ok

Truck is completely rotted, dump wont raise because the ratchet straps are tied around the frame holding the gas tank up

inspected to 11/11, but that is probably it due to rot

Plow is rotted, tires are ok, one has a big hole and is flat, battery is dead.

I may have another 9' Uni in better shape so im not so worried about the plow.

What do I tell him, he can keep it for 2500, offer him 1000????

    Thanks

I wouldn't offer more than 650. All that looks to be any good is the plow (sort of). I would guess to get that inspect-able you have at least 1,500 in parts and metal to make it pass inspection.

If the gas, brake lines, tank, and frame are gone it is ready for scrap.

I'm glad he said no. I would've RAN from that. That trans would've taken a crap on you by end of next winter, who knows what front end work it needs, the frame? body work? etc, etc?

better off just spending $8k+ and getting something in much better condition

Yea Matt that truck is hammered. I stopped and looked at it a couple days ago. Just from the outside I saw it was beat, I didn't even want to hear it run!
