So in our region its either hit or miss on snow and ice. Two years ago we did not have a single event to plow or salt. Last year we had two week long events that we managed to handle with one plow truck and a hopper spreader on the back of a open cab tractor. We spread about 7 tons that way. This year we are hoping for an increase in the business and invested in another plow truck and and a polycaster. To cover our investment we have an agreement to go sub about a 100 miles north of here if we miss out on weather events. My question is with a new polycaster is there any advice more experienced guys would like to share about setting it up? After reading on this forum, I purchased some fluid film, would one advise spraying it down before ever using it the first time? Going into a 2000 3500 4x4 single rear wheels.
