I have 97 Dodge ext. Cab Cummins diesel that I am thinking about plowing with. I don't believe the manufacturer reccomends plowing with this vehicle. Can it be safely set up to plow? If so what is neccesary to make it able to handle a plow without risk to truck or others? If it is able to plow safely, can it use a Blizzard 810?

    Any help would be appreciated.

All though dodge is noted for soft front ends I do not see why you could not put a Blizzard 810 on it. You may need suspension up grade . Any vehicle is only as good as the driver. I presenty use a chev 1 ton dually crew cab with a 810 and experience no problems. I crank my torsion bars up 5 turns. You will find that manufacturers will not recommend because they think you will have four passengers with you and they are covering their ass. Good old USA.
