Servicing your plow????

    How and what should I be doing to get my plow ready for this season? This is my second season and The dealer where I bought it from wnats $200 to service it. What could they be possibly doing to it?

    Give it a thorough cleaning and inspect all the nuts, bolts, pivot points, hoses, wiring, ect.(basically look the whole unit over really well), change the fluid, lube any contact, pinch or pivot points, and give it a nice coating of fluid film, hook it up to the truck to make sure all is good.

    Change the oil and filter, adjust headlights, grease all moveable parts, etc. My guy charges $55 I think and he supplies everything.
