    _ 8:00 AM Update

More lake effect snow today and tonight._ The persistent band of lake effect snow will conitue today off of Lake Ontario, however, the heaviest snows of the band will not reach as far east as the past couple of days._

To say that this band has meant bussiness would be an understatement._ As of 8:00 AM this morning the town of Parish in Oswego county has recorded over 54 inches of snow in the past day and a half; Westdale in Oneida County has received more than 3 feet; Point Rock nearly 30 inches, and Lee Center has picked up over 2 feet of snow.

I know someone who lives there. He said for quite a while it was snowing @6" per hour.

Man that would be one of those storms where you finished the lot and just start over again. "Hey didn't I just do this lot?"
