Did some serious coating today. Here's some photos of the action.

Here is what I started with.

My main project was to undercoat the underside of my International dump, here is what it looked like before I started, this is after a wire brush treatment.

    Photo during the application.

And the finished product, it took 3/4 of a gallon to coat the truck, I also did the frame, front and rear springs and a few other small areas.

I was going to coat the oil pan because I new there were some trouble spots, 7.3 oil pans are know for rusting out. But after a wire brush treatment it was worse than I thought and I decided to coat it with primer. In the summer when it's warmer it will get coated with this stuff, KBS coatings: http://www.kbs-coatings.com/

I also used FF on to get my tail gate pins on my dump truck to free them up, I did a little fab work to them and coated the with FF.

    That's about it for today.

Thanks, think you can use a normal gun from lowes? Or do you think it would gum up. Defiantly a better idea than useing a lot of spray cans.

Looks like you did a hell of a job. Nice and thick. Should last for a long time.

Any bulk applicator or undercoating gun should work, as long at you can adjust the nozzle, mine is adjustable and I had to open it up a good amount to get it to flow. You could probably find one for cheaper than the eastwood one as well. But mine also came with the extra hose for hard to reach places. I didn't have to use them in this case.

Thanks for the complements guys, if I can shovel all the frozen snow out of the dump bed I'm going to coat the inside of the bed as well. This inside of the dump is in real good shape but it deserves some treatment too.
