    Hey all....i am buying a 2008 ford f150 stx extended cab 4x4 with the 4.6l....fisher recommends the homestaeder which i really dont want or the sd series with bumper notching....what does that mean, and does anybody have this on their 150?

    Bumber notching is cutting away 2 sections of the black plastic air dam/deflector that's mounted to the bottom of you bumper. The installer needs to do this in the area where your tow hooks were mounted. See page 5 http://www.fisherplows.com/pdf/64463.01_081005.pdf

    You may want to consider swapping your stock front springs with a z code set (HD payload package).

    Had my Boss installed on my F250 they ended up taking the valance off.
