Wow I just read the Newbies start here stickie. I am pumpeed to do a few driveways this winter. But after reading that I was left feeling like I mite kill someone and stick my son with the bill after serving my death sentance. I was really surprised to see that as a stickie. Oh well I am over it now and still looking forward to pushing some snow with my 2004 F350 PSD. My question is how many of you guys have a back up truck in case of a failure on your main truck?:dizzy:

Can you post a link to what you are talking about?

I have multiple levels of backup at all times.

I have a 1987 cheverolet with a 7.5' speedcast on it. I want to sell it but thought maybe it would be good to keep around if I break my truck.

Keep the truck. It's a good feeling to know you have a back-up. Make sure you keep it in good working order so it's not one more thing that went wrong that day or night.

The Newbie post is not meant to scare you, just make you think about things other than $$$. Take all that info and use it to cover your bases.

That shiny black thing you're making payments on but never leaves your driveway.

Does it even run? I'm convinced it's simply a cardboard cutout. :D

If possible, always have a backup, cause yah never know, and don't make enemies with your competition, cause you might have to call on them some day to get you out of a bind.payup

You guys back up when you're plowing? That is what the back blade is for.

Side note: My truck that hauls the lawn mowers around for my crew to mow grass has not had reverse all summer! My crew chief has planned his route to where he can mow all week without backing up. Will fix it during the winter.

We have a big Halloween party every year. The year before last a good friend of mine dressed as Captain Spaulding. It was awesome! I'll try to get a pic up.

I have friends that will and have backed me up. If something happens and I fall way behind they will jump on and pick up the slack. They get 100% of the money from the accounts they plow for me. I also have thier backs. Cheaper than keeping a backup truck on the road.
