I fired up my sander this morning everything worked fine. No problems with the off switch. I had to tighten the mounting bolts for the starter and now when I push the off switch the motor won't shut off. I had to choke it to shut it off. Anyone have any suggestions on where to start looking? Thanks

If your switch is fine, i would check the ground connection on the motor

I think that right around where the starter is at, is the coil wires. that's how the motor shuts off, by gnding the coil wire. so ck your wires

Thanks for the help. I found a wire that came off. She works great again.
