the end of last season i purchased a salt spreader for my truck and i am not sure how to charge if i use it. Does everyone charge on actual use per storm per lot? or do you have a flat fee per storm?

Im pretty new to plowing as last season was my first but im looking to go out on my own instead of being a sub and just need some advice on how to get started.

also in northern ohio what is the going rates? my dads business used to plow commercially but its been 10 years so we arent really up on the going rates.

Guys charge all sorts of ways, Per application, hourly, tonnage. You decide what way you want to charge. Do a search and read a lot, if you ask questions that have been answered 100 times more then likely you will get smart A$$ answers from guys on here so do a search and you will learn a lot. What part of ohio are you in.
