saltdogg puncture repair

    My nephew left salt in the hopper over night. as you can imagine it was a solid rock the next day. He then tried to remedy the situation by chipping the salt apart and punctured the inside wall. SHPE2000 2 yd version. Actually felt bad for the kid.

    Anyone ever repair of patch one of these? Other than this the saltdoog has been a dream.

    2 part epoxy and a piece of sheetmetal or plastic that you can form to fit.

    yup. i would avoid drilling holes for bolts/screws or rivets. they would be likely to crack away in the future. a good 2 part epoxy is your friend here.
