I got this spreader a month or so ago from a friend who bought a new v box. It was a tailgate/bumper mount and the frame was shot. I bought all new steel, twice the size of the original steel and made it into a hitch mount. I didn't get any pics of it before but here it is all tore down. It does have a new motor in it (replaced this spring) but that was about the only good part of it. Also came with the controller. Anyone know what make, model this is?

Frame goes in tomorrow for sand blast, prime and paint + job interview.

I bought some of that plastic Kryon fusion paint to try out and used up 2 cans spraying light coats. It looked like it was working pretty good so I let it dry for a couple hours before moving it. I moved it in the garage tonight and found 2 small spots where the paint chipped off. NOT impressed at all.

Click on Equipment Specialists link above, a western 1000 is basically the same unit and the parts will interchange. You can look at a break down of parts on their website.
