Im really considering getting a salt dog 2 yard hopper and i've been talking to some people about supplying me with salt and was wondering is it about 1 ton to fill the 2 yard salt dog of is it less or more since the charge by the ton it would be easier to figure out cost for myself.
    Thanks

1 yard is usually around 1000#'s to 1890#s depending how wet the salt is.
    40-70'#s per cubic foot X 27 = 1 yard
