I am making salt brine and plan on using it as a maintenance tool, applying it to parking lots(banks) possibly on a 7-10 day interval to combat freezing rain, black ice, and dustings. These sites are basically zero tolerance. Does anyone with experience think this program will do anything? It should certainly help with afterstorm clean-up, using less salt.
I can also purchase liquid calcium locally for $1.05 gallon. Should I look at adding some of this to the mix? Maybe 10%
I can get Magic-O for $2.50/gal (not bad) and also Geo for $5.25/gal (rip-off), both about an hr. away.
