I spoke with Vinny at MPT today and from now till the end of the season MPT is discounting u edges. Seems they have extra raw material, and want to move it. Also the next batch of raw material will likely cost more due to petroleum costs rising. Looks like we should be able to save about $ 3.00 a foot off a typical 1.5" x 8" edge. So that would mean saving $ 24.00 on a 8' edge.

For those who have been sitting on the fence, now is a good time to get on board with urethane.

    What ????????

What is a "U" edge, is that a new plow?

Buying a plow by the foot?

I am new, forgive my disposition.

    Great site.

a uedge is a polyurethane cutting edge, you buy the edge buy the foot. use the search feature and read till your eyes fall off on the subject.
    welcome to plowsite!.

    Thanks.

    Is it yellow?

A guy I saw plowing in one of my neighborhoods that I plow in has a yellow edge on this huge back blade.

Nice truck!! White plow on the front, white plow on the rear, and his truck was like a "Grand Rapids Police Car" Blue.

    Very nice setup.

    Is it yellow?

I would if I could. I'm already into next years snow plowing budget.:(

Hey maybe we'll get about five or six more storms. Well, if that happens a new ZTR is sounding pretty good too.

The material is 27.00 per foot, so just do that math on how long you need and that will give you your price.
    7.6 x 27 =205.20

    Stephen,

No, they are just 8" covers for pipes that lead down to the actual valve. They are all over the place in this lot :(

    THANKS DINO!!!:D
