Rt3 8'2. on a 2003 ford f350

    I can not get the darn wires hookeed up right. I have lights all wired but the solenoid is giving me trouble. Ive read boss manual it dont make any sense to me. Can someone post a picture and I can go from that. Thanks

    Big pos to one big post. Big pos to the other post....That goes to the plow itself

    2 small wires goto the other small posts

    Then the big pos wire from solenoid to pos terminal on battery?

    Okay, now should i power at pos where it plugs into the plow? I took a test light and i have nothing

    You only have power at the plug, or motor WHEN you activate the solenoid.
    I.e. up, right, left, (wings) down is gravity so no function of the motor.

    What ActIvates the solenoid the 2 little wires?

    Well yes. One's a ground and the other is the signal power wire from the clicker

    So if ones a ground and its hooked on the solenoid, does the solenoid need to be on clean metal to be grounded?

    No. You do have a 4 pin solenoid correct?

    Yes it is, 2 big prongs and 2 small prongs

    Ok then one small goes to one small pin, and the other small pin is either coming from the plow harness, or you would need to ground it yourself
