Does anyone have any ideas how one would fit an 8 foot spreader in an 8 foot bed and have room somewhere for a rather large snow blower???

First question.....are you also plowing with this truck? If not, you could rig up a folding or removable platform to the front frame to transport the blower like some disabled carry their electric scooters.

If that is not an option, perhaps you could make up a removable platform for the rear that you would have to unload the blower & remove the platform at each site before spreading.

Otherwise, as the saying goes: you can't put 10 pounds of **** in a 5 pound bag.

#1 is not big enough to hold #2.
That is why #2 was invented.

Or get a small single stage.

    Snow Blower

How about a snow machine trailor and just haul it behind you. Fast to disconnect and reconnect and easy to load and unload. Just a thought

I like the cheap single axle trailer idea, or the small single stage thrower. That or your lookin at a lot of physical effort to get 10lbs of salt in a 5lb bag.
