Replacing polycarb on plow

    I'm stripping the metal to the plow. When it's all painted and ready for assembly, is there any caulking that goes between the polycarb and the metal bracket? When I took it apart there seemed to be an excess of paint or caulking.

    never used any caulk on the 2 or 3 i replaced

    No caulk.l You want the poly to move freely
