I have had good success so far with my plow with the exception of removing it. I could get the bottom pins out but could not remove the top pin. Also it seems as though the Jack stand leg is not long enough to reach the ground. Does it need to be blocked up? I have the 10" measurement from ground to the mount so I think my problem is me and my understanding of the removal instructions. Any tips?

if you do the top pin first, the headgear will fold down, thus resting the jack on the ground. then as you push down more on the headgear, it will put the weight on the jack and take the tension off of the bottom pins. take them out and you're all set.
