Can't get my new remote to sync up with the plow. What gives???

I followed the instructions in the book and it won't work.

    1. Erase old programmed codes by touching a metal object to the poles until it the LED blinks slowly.

    2. Turn on the new transmitter.

    3. Touch poles until Green LED comes on.

    4. Push any function button until green LED goes off.

    5. Done.

    Am I missing something?

ANy help would be greatly appreciated. My frustration is at a point that is not good.

Ya, trade in the wireless unit for a wired unit, you'll be much happier.

    I erased many times.

According to the book, if there is a code in the memory the LED will blink 5 times fast after touching the poles with a metal object. It stays lit which tells me there are no codes memorized right now.

Problem is, it just doesn't seem to want to memorize a new code.

On step one you want to cross the poles until you get (4) slow blinks. In some cases it will blink rapidly for several seconds, I have had them blink rapidly up to 30 seconds. Then continue to hold until you get a long steady glow followed by 4 slow blinks. Then pickup with step 2. There is a tutorial on our website if you need further assistance. Here is the link:

Thanks for the link. I did everything like the video. The difference was when I went to program and pushed the function button, the green led would not go immediately out like the video. In the manual, it says to hold down the function button until the LED goes out, so I did that. Still didn't work.

    I'll keep trying.
