I bought a new fisher ss xtreme v. Do I need to register anything via mail or online for warranty?
Also, what do I need to register, I assume a serial # or something. If so, where is this located on the plow? Thanks in advance.

Where is your receipt? everything is on it.

Your warranty work is honored regardless if you register it or not, with proof of purchase. If you don't have proof of purchase, or have registered it...they won't honor the warranty. Primarily, They use it to determine when your 2 years started, as well as to further verify it's not stolen.

In short, it's a good idea to register it online through Fisher, not only for warranty, but for theft as well.

There is 2 different serial numbers, one on the pump, the other on the plow itself (right above where the idiot labels are).

Thanks, you need both numbers to register the plow?

Yup. Check your paperwork, it's easier. If you don't have one, go, or call your selling dealer now, rather then later to get a copy of it. I go to the extent of coping mine, and keep it in my owner's manual that comes with the plow, as well as write them down on the notes page of the same manual. I like to keep the original in the filing cabinet, where I know it's safe.

Yes, they have to, it's part of their contract.

I registered mine online even though I bought it used just to make sure if it gets stolen.
