I am going to sandblast my tailgate spreader frame. I want to know what people think is best for top coat. Prime and paint with rustoleum, powder coat or what.

    spreader

first on the list would be epoxy paint for the interior and exterior of the spreader,

second would be "rustoleum" and fluid film.

It all depends on your budget.

If there is a power coat facility close to you that has an oven big enough it could be the ticket. As the guy doing it his opinion and warranty:nod:

I thought about POR-15 but its to be used over rust. I am going to sand blast to bare metal. Will it still bond properly?
