    the intake and exhaust are also reversed. the exhaust comes out in the vally and the air goes in the outer part of the head(closest to the tires)

    Yeah, its a pretty slick setup. Without the turbo hanging off the side, they can tuck it into a small block engine bay. What a motor to put in a restoration C-10 or something.wesport

    Funny how Cummins increases the size of their engine.... GM decreases it.... with similar results.

    Maybe we'll finally see a half-ton diesel again!

    Now split it in half and make a four cylinder turbo diesel for the compact pickups and you'd have another winner.

    Well, it hasnt officially been "scrapped" but it is on hold.

    well I would interested in that truck with diesel that be great but what price will be? $45,000 or more?

    Nahhhh that would be silly... what would you use to tow a Ford to the scrap then? :D

    Apparently they hope to keep the engine/trans option in the $3-5k range which wouldn't be too bad. Considering the power and economy, it would pay for itself QUICK.
