Anyone out there run a rear plow and a salt spreader? If so how do you have everything mounted?
I bought a used Boss 1100 spreader that did not come with any of the mounting hardware. And I am looking at a Daniels rear plow that mounts in the receiver hitch. Thinking about mounting spreader in bed but worried about how high it would be.
    Any ideas?

You won't be able to run both of those together (nor would you want to throw salt over your pull plow). I have both of those units( though I don't know which 1100 you have mounting wise) I always switched them out. Did everything that required salting first and then threw the Daniels on to do residentials. My Boss 1100 mounts on a specific hitch but not into the receiver itself, but the two still can't mount together. My hitch is modified to work for both units as I have the older Daniels style.

    Snowman Pull Plows

Check out Snowman pull plows, they have been making a pull plow set up that works with spreaders for years. www.snowmanplows.com
