rear end advice for 86 gmc

    Hi guys I have a 86 GMC sub 3/4 ton 4x4
    I want to upgrade the rear end with a locker
    this ia a 8 lug set up but not a full floater
    should i buy a loker for this rear end or upgrade to a full floater w/locker
    and if so will the stock rims i run now fit a full floater??
    I plan on diesel swap later so i am trying to bullet proof drive line now thanks

    I think I'd go junkyard shopping for a full floater.
    wheels should work just fine!

    Throw in a full floater 14 bolt with a detroit and call it a day.

    Do the full floater just make sure you check the location of the spring perches there are different widths. Unless you can remove and relocate
